Our client are a prestigious, International Beauty Business with two offices in Central London and a Barcelona based headquarters. We are actively seeking a Senior HR Advisor to join them on an initial 3 month basis, with the potential to extend or go permanent.
The key purpose of this role is to provide a high-quality generalist HR service for our Retail teams in the UK, working collaboratively with our managers to support them in the delivery of their People Plans.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advice to our Retail Managers and Regional Managers across all areas of ER including: absence management, grievances, performance management, disciplinary, mediation, maternity leave, paternity leave, and flexible working.
- Manage ER cases within the client group, including providing direct support to business partners on issues
- Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure consistency of process delivery and people experience and to ensure global department goals are met
- Partner with your colleagues in the specialist HR functions of Talent Acquisition and Compensations & Benefits to deliver the best People experience and create a Joy of Belonging.
- Support the wellbeing of our teams including championing wellbeing initiatives and supporting with dealing with concerns in a timely manner
- Lead by example in living our people values, recognising others who do also, and creating a Great Place to Work culture
- Support the HR team as we foster a high-performing team environment, by recognising talent, supporting development and progression through the annual Talent Management and Performance Review processes
- Use workplace as a key communication tool to engage with the teams and create a sense of community
- Be an agent for change and look for new opportunities and industry best practice to build into our mission to be an employer of choice, Champion Inclusivity and Equity, making decisions and defining policy through the lens of Inclusion.
· Support with revising and implementing any necessary policy changes in line with legislation
- Keep abreast of changes in law and best practice to ensure the best guidance for the teams in ER cases and implementation of best practice initiatives through ad hoc research.
· Understand team turnover, and seek feedback to spot trends and decrease turnover
· Support with the annual pay review and bonus processes to ensure input from managers and calibration of ratings
· Understand the needs of our Retail teams through active listening and implementing appropriate initiative from the managers feedback
· Coach and encourage a coaching style of leadership within the management team
· Actively building a close working relationship with the Retail team by regularly visiting stores
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE
Experience:
· Relevant background in a similar role and industry
· Excellent understanding of HR processes, systems and practice
· Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding customer driven environment
· High accuracy and attention to detail
