We have an exciting opportunity to join the IT solutions function area, we are recruiting a HR and Payroll Solutions Manager based either in London or Hull, you will play a vital role in fulfilling our vison for a sustainable and profitable future for ABP.
Purpose:
The HR and Payroll Solution Manager is accountable for the IT solutions in their functional area, supporting the needs of the HR and Payroll Business functions. Working closely with the Business and SAP functional teams to ensure the rights solutions are selected and delivered for ABP. Require a strong background in SAP, guiding the business on best practice SAP, keeping your skills up to date by working with strategic partners, and taking an active role in understanding the SAP roadmap, the Solution Manager will ensure advice can be given on the best way to solve business problems, and deliver value.
Accountabilities:
- Hands on approach for designs in the HR and Payroll solution area.
- Build and manage relationships with Business stakeholders, working as one team with Business Process Owners and Super Users and related Business functions.
- Work with Business and IT to plan and deliver a roadmap of change in Central Systems, focussing on standard, simple, and right fit solutions.
- Lead a team of three remotely.
- Work with Business and Business Partnering to agree responsibilities around Business delivery and Business change related to release (e.g., ensuring Process maps, business changes activities (comms, training etc) are planned in for delivery.
- Prepares resource and capacity plans for team, as well as allocating resources to work (alongside Functional leads).
- Acts as a channel for internal communications within solution area.
- Analyses data to enhance service delivery, identifying and implementing areas of improvement.
- Manages risk and issues across their solution area.
- Champions continuous improvement and agile delivery
About you:
Have a good knowledge of SAP and within HR and Payroll solutions area, self-motivated who can work hands on and provide customer service excellence. Excellent communicator with our internal stakeholders. To have good leadership skills whilst leading a team remotely. To be creative, problem solve a good attention to detail.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Essential
- Excellent process understanding, and functional understanding of SAP with background as functional lead in Success Factors and HCM solutions in SAP.
- Good understanding of overall SAP Solution architecture and cross functional solution aspects across front and back-office process areas.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of different delivery methods (Agile and Waterfall) and ITIL SM processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Experience of Team Management with multi-location teams.
- Ability to bring multi-disciplined teams, in a matrix organisation together into one delivery team.
- Ability to comprehend and give strategic direction not just tactical.
Ideal
- Knowledge of Payroll and ResourceLink desirable.
- Proven experience with a Fortune 500 company.
- Possess a degree in an IT related subject relevant to this post.
