A fantastic school in Hammersmith are looking for a personable and driven HR Assistant to join their support team – immediate start! Candidates with previous HR experience or experience working within a school are encouraged to apply for this HR Assistant role.
As a HR Assistant you will assist the HR Manager in the smooth operation of administrative aspects of Human Resources. This will include supporting the HR Manager in providing a comprehensive and enabling people management service that amplifies the student and staff experience. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and competent individual who is keen to develop their HR skill set in a great school.
HR Assistant job summary:
- HR Assistant salary is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
- Ensure an effective HR administrative service is provided to line managers relating to the entire employment and wellbeing of all employees.
- Assist in developing, implementing, embedding, and reviewing best practice across the local school.
- HR related responsibilities include recruitment, payroll processing, attendance management and maintenance of staff personnel data.
- Must be willing to complete an enhanced DBS.
As a HR Assistant you will need to possess excellent interpersonal skills, can deal tactfully with colleagues and be able to follow robust processes and procedures. You will be a confident multi-tasker who is able to effectively prioritise heavy workloads and set an example of personal integrity and professionalism.
HR Assistant requirements:
- A 2:1 degree or above.
- Experience of working in a busy HR role. School experience is a bonus.
- Experience of using databases such as ITrent, EduPeople etc desirable.
- Excellent verbal, written and communication skills.
- Well natured, resilient, and enthusiastic.
