Skills and experience you will have…
- Previous experience working within an HR function and dealing with a wide range of employee issues.
- Ideally CIPD level 3 qualified or studying towards (although not essential).
- Desire to succeed in a Shared Service/Consulting environment with opportunities for career progression.
- Experience of HiBob or another HRIS.
- Preferable experience of using SharePoint.
- Knowledge of the latest UK employment law and HR best practice.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail are required.
- Competent in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and generally IT literate.
- Excellent organisation skills.
- Forward-thinking, proactive and creative.
- Strong customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to deal with multiple issues simultaneously in a highly dynamic environment.
What your key responsibilities will look like as a HR Assistant…
- Administration for customers including; preparing for site visits, template letters, diary management for Consultants, client touch points, minute taking, proofreading, preparing contracts of employment, filing, scanning and research.
- Updating policies, procedures and documentation on behalf of customers.
- Support with managing the employee lifecycle for customers.
- Ensuring customer records are kept up to date.
- Assisting with administration duties relating to employee relations and well-being. Such as disciplinary, grievance and absence management.
- Work closely with and support the HR Consultants with the day-to-day management of clients, such as conducting HR audits, providing template letters and holiday calculations.
- Organising meetings and other events as required.
- The opportunity to support the HR Consultants on projects as and when required.
