We are delighted to be working with a growing manufacturing organisation in their search for a HR Assistant to join their team.
Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, you will be joining the newly established team, the role has a generalist remit. Over the next 18 months you will work as part of a team to help shape the HR department and supporting the recruitment and onboarding of all of its staff.

The main duties of the HR Advisor role will include:
- Support the recruitment activity by establishing a filing system to track and monitor applicants as well as the necessary administration / communication to candidates.
- Involvement in the input of information to the HRIS which is newly implemented on site.
- Advertising, screening and arranging interviews and assessments
- Creation of interview and assessment materials
- Carrying out pre-employment checks
- Being a first point of contact for general HR queries, providing high-quality, effective and consistent support to the site
- Sourcing and booking training events – ensuring all administrative aspects are managed including travel and catering arrangements
- Support the onboarding of the Production Operators which includes their training and co-ordination of activity (transport / logistics etc.)
- Administration of invoicing within the HR team
- Providing support to the business in terms of visits which include organising taxis, catering and other ad hoc tasks as and when required
- Contributing to the development and delivery of HR projects and initiatives
As with all positions, due to the nature and varying demands of our business, the responsibilities and tasks are not limited to this overview and may change to meet future demands.
The role will be based on site in Deeside and is a full time role – Monday-Friday.
The salary is up to £28,000 depending on experience.
