HR Business Partner –Scarborough – Up to £36,009 (12 Month FTC)

If you are a people focused HR professional with excellent employment law knowledge and experience in the close management of employee relation matters, then this could be the perfect role for you. You’ll partner with designated senior management to guide and advise on the full scope of HR and ER.

HR Business Partner Responsibilities:

• Leading investigation procedures and disciplinary meetings
• Keeping up to date with HR best practice and employment legislation
• Establishing and developing relationships within the team and wider organisation
• Providing accurate advice to managers on all HR and employee relations aspects
• Advising managers on absence, performance management, disciplinaries and grievances
• Working closely with the occupational health nurse to ensure any medical/self-certification certificates have been provided
• Supporting across a variety of HR aspects
• Travelling across multiple sites as necessary

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum CIPD Level 5 qualified
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Self-starter with excellent organisational skills
• Solid and up to date knowledge of employment law
• Strong experience in employee relations and casework management  
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships
