We are currently working in partnership with an esteemed education organisation, who are looking to appoint a HR Business Partner on a permanent basis.
This will be a full-time position based in West London, with a salary of up to £48,000 per annum.
The ideal candidate will have strong employment legislation knowledge and be experienced in line managing staff.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Managing HR queries, ensuring HR Assistants provide accurate guidance on HR policy, process and operating procedures for employees and managers
- Inducting, training and managing HR Assistants within your school’s cohort, ensuring they are able to handle key HR responsibilities should the HRBP be absent
- Managing a variety of ER casework including disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, sickness absence management and capabilities, coaching and training managers on ER procedures and employment law
- Overseeing the maintenance and update of single central record with details of all staff across the organisation’s schools as well as the compliance of RTW documentation
- Managing the onboarding process for successful candidates ensuring all pre-employment checks have been carried out including, eligibility to work, DBS, Health checks etc., supporting documentation has been checked, and systems and files have been updated accordingly
- Assisting in the annual salary review process - ensuring systems are updated and letters issued to all staff
- Supporting the rollout of all HR Systems functionality - i.e., onboarding, self-service, online appraisals, time off
- Working closely with the senior colleagues to ensure each of their schools is making the best use of the system to support their business objectives
Experience required:
- Handling varied and complex ER Casework
- Experience of managing a Single Central Record
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
