HR Business Partner, Salary up to £40-60k working on a 12-month fixed term contract, Remote / Home based with occasional travel and overnight stays to sites across the UK
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to work on a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract project, with a primary focus on managing HR aspects related to site closures and redundancies. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with leadership and operational teams to navigate complex HR challenges associated with restructuring initiatives. Applicants will need to have experience in a HR Business Partner role and of managing HR aspects of site closures and redundancies.
The role:
Strategic HR Guidance: Provide strategic HR advice and guidance to senior management during site closure processes, ensuring alignment with company objectives and legal compliance.
Redundancy Management: Lead and execute end-to-end redundancy processes, including consultation, communication plans, and support for affected employees, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
Legal Compliance: Stay abreast of employment laws and regulations, ensuring all HR activities related to site closures and redundancies are compliant and mitigate legal risks.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with operational teams, fostering effective communication channels and ensuring a cohesive approach to HR strategies during the site closure period.
Employee Support: Provide support and guidance to employees affected by site closures, offering resources and assistance in career transition.
Data Analysis: Analyse HR metrics and data related to site closures, providing insights to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
Policy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures tailored to site closures and redundancy scenarios.
Candidate requirements:
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, with a focus on managing HR aspects of site closures and redundancies.
- In-depth knowledge of UK employment laws and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels within the organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive HR issues with confidentiality, empathy, and professionalism.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, preferably within the manufacturing, construction or related industry.
