Salary: Grade 4 from GBP27,684 dependent on experience and qualifications
Brighton Girls is seeking to appoint a skilled HR generalist to provide a professional operational HR service to the school.
You will impart practical, consistent and proactive HR advice and will provide support to the Director of Finance and Operations (DFO), the Senior Leadership Team and Heads of Departments on all aspects of HR. You will liaise with our HR and Compliance Manager and HR Business Partner at the Girls' Day School Trust Office who will assist you with providing guidance on the application of GDST HR policies and procedures.
You will possess excellent time management, organisation and administrative skills, and will be able to manage and prioritise your own workload effectively with the needs of the school. We are looking for someone with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, who can relate well to people on all levels with sensitivity, tact and diplomacy. The ability to work well under pressure and work to tight deadlines is key. Experience of working in HR in a similar role would be an advantage but is not essential and we would welcome applicants with educational experience and knowledge of the Single Central Record looking to grow into this HR role.
