Job Summary:
This is a permanent position that requires you to work in the Hammersmith London office 4 days per week.
The HR & Employee Relations (ER) Coordinator will deliver support on HR and ER activity across the business as part of the ER team. You will receive ad hoc ER queries from staff and will respond based on Company policy, including on probationary reviews and absence management issues, escalating as needed within the ER team and working alongside HR Business Partners. You will also undertake note-taking in any formal ER meetings.
You will stay one step ahead of your day-to-day activities to ensure the smooth running of the department, assisting the team with data manipulation and analysis, and continual review/updates of employment policies and handbooks.
You will also provide administrative tasks including diary management/PA duties for the HR Director (UK & Ireland), presentation preparation and project management co-ordination, as well as helping raise Purchase Orders for the HR department through SAP. This will include liaising with accounts to ensure efficient payment of suppliers and take responsibility for ensuring that the PO system runs smoothly, coding is correct and budgets are up to date in relation to team activity.
This is a junior role into ER that would suit someone with a strong administration background, time and project management skills and would like to build a career in this field of HR.
The Opportunity & Responsibilities:
Responding to ad hoc Employee Relations queries to employees and line managers
Reviewing and updating policies with support from ER and HR colleagues
Diary management
Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, meet and greet and organise calls
Notetaking
Presentation preparation
Raise Purchase Orders through SAP
Completion of HR administration forms as required
Liaise with the Global HR Operations team on administration
Assisting with the administration and coordination of HR meetings, attending if applicable
Coordinate and manage department holiday records
Project support where necessary
All other duties as assigned
The Experience We Require From You:
Previous HR experience including responding to policy/ER queries from employees and line managers
Able to work autonomously, be pro-active and take initiative
Strong attention to detail
Able to handle high volumes of different tasks while managing priorities and deadlines
Highly discrete and aware of sensitive and confidential information and situations
Excellent computer skills (Word, Power point, Excel, SAP, Outlook, Internet etc)
Demonstrable notetaking skills
