We also manage other important public spaces including Brompton Cemetery and Victoria Tower Gardens. Our eight Royal Parks and other iconic green spaces are among the most visited attractions in the UK with 77 million visits every year.

We are now looking for an HR Advisor to join us on a full-time, permanent basis.

  • Pension scheme (3% employee contribution; up to 10% employer contribution)
  • Hybrid/agile working options
  • Private medical insurance and healthcare cash plan
  • Employee assistance programme and access to mental health first aiders
  • Learning and development opportunities

The Role

You will be joining us at an exciting time as our workforce continues to develop. Now with around 325 permanent and fixed term employees and a seasonal workforce, our team is made up of operational, office-based and seasonal staff (in our retail and leisure teams).

As an HR Advisor, you will provide an exceptional HR service to colleagues and managers across the organisation regarding all aspects of the employee life cycle. You will be knowledgeable about our policies and procedures and give advice to managers and employees about how they should be implemented.

Responding to a range of queries, you will provide pragmatic advice to enable managers to successfully resolve Employee Relations issues covering a broad range of HR matters. These may include probation, attendance, performance management and leaver processes.

You will also act as an HR business partner and implement processes to provide ongoing support to those areas of the organisation that require more regular HR input and guidance.

Additionally, you will:

  • Draft occupational health reports
  • Support the HR team with project work
  • Oversee the HR operations inbox and coach the HR Administrators when necessary
  • Support the Head of HR and HR Manager with reporting and data analysis

About You

To be considered as an HR Advisor, you will need:

  • Experience supporting managers with first level Employee Relations cases
  • Experience advising managers and staff about HR policies and processes
  • Knowledge of HR best practice and workplace trends
  • Working knowledge of employment law
