About the Role: As their HR Advisor, you'll play a crucial role in managing employee relations, ensuring compliance with HR policies, and supporting the Headteacher of their Day School and Sixth Form. You'll be part of a dedicated HR team, reporting to the Head of HR.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the Single Central Register (SCR) and conduct internal audits.Ensure statutory checks for new staff and adherence to safer recruitment principles.Handle HR queries, maintain HR systems, and support sickness absence processes.Oversee pay-related processes and provide HR policy advice.Manage recruitment campaigns, onboarding, and staff induction.Coordinate training, development programs, and performance appraisals.Act as a mediator in employee relations and assist in policy development.
What They are Looking For:
CIPD level 5 or higher HR qualifications (or equivalent).Strong knowledge of UK employment laws and HR best practices.Experience in a school environment and safer recruitment checks.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
