This prestigious government body has over 600 members (MP’s) who are elected by the UK public, where they debate the big political issues and proposals for new laws. The organisation is situated in central of London, close to a number of excellent transport links.
The HR Advisor role will be part of a team of 6, where you will provide high quality HR customer service on a daily basis to its members. This hybrid HR role will allow you to work from the office 2-days per week.
The key responsibilities of this important 12-month FTC role paying £41,340 includes:
- Supporting and advising the members with their complex HR queries.
- Developing and updating the HR policies, procedures and guidance.
- Analysing and monitoring HR trends and activity, offering advice on the findings.
- Collaborating with the wider People and Culture team, sharing learning and knowledge where possible.
- Coaching and developing the members to give them the knowledge and understanding to resolve employee issues themselves.
This exciting HR Advisor opportunity will suit a CIPD qualified HR professional with the ability to manage a varied workload. You will be able to build excellent relationships with the members, influencing where possible. You will need to have up to date employment law and legislation knowledge along with being confident at advising high profile people on their HR issues.
