We are now looking for an HR Officer to join our fast paced, professional HR team for a full-time contract that is anticipated to end in October 2024.

We are looking for a CIPD qualified HR officer with experience in a similar role to join our team and help make Yusen the logistics provider of choice.

The Role
As an HR Officer, you will provide an effective, efficient, timely and professional generalist HR service to operational management, functions management and employees across the UK.
Specifically, you will provide advice and support to managers, colleagues and line managers across the business for a wide range of topics. These will include attendance management, disciplinary and grievance processes, performance management, business restructures, health and wellbeing, TUPE processes and contract termination procedures.
You will also support the business with change initiatives and the implementation of projects as required, as well as providing administrative support to the wider Business Support function.
Additionally, you will:
- Attend disciplinary, grievance and appeal hearings
- Provide support and advice for performance improvement activities
- Support employees and managers in welfare and capability processes
- Oversee occupational health referrals
- Support recruitment, induction, internal talent identification and development
About You
To be considered as an HR Officer, you will need:
- A CIPD qualification (ideally Chartered)
- Demonstrable experience as an HR Officer or similar level position, advising managers of all levels on the full spectrum of HR matters
- Sound knowledge of employment law, particularly relating to disciplinary, absence management and equality
- Knowledge of HR best practice
- The ability to generate ideas on process improvement and best practice
- A full, valid driving licence (travel to other Yusen sites will be required)
