Our client, a leading privately owned global food ingredients company who employ over 250 people in their Banbury site are looking for an experienced, professional and proactive HR Officer to join their team
You will ideally hold CIPD level 3 and/or be actively working towards CIPD level 5. You will have experience of working within a busy HR team and have a full driving licence. Experience of working within a manufacturing environment would be an advantage

Duties
Recruitment:
- Prepare internal vacancy notifications
- Liaise with recruitment agencies and direct applicants to coordinate interviews
- Manager all applications in a timely manner
- Sourcing of temporary labour as and when required
- Source competitive rates for advertising, compile and place adverts
New Starters/Inductions:
- Send offer letter, contract and other relevant information to successful candidates
- Enter new starter information onto the relevant systems
- Arrange and deliver induction sessions for new starters
- Request employment references for new starters
- Maintain regular contact with payroll regarding starters/leavers
Absence Management:
- Prepare daily and weekly operations absence data report and circulate to senior management
- Enter sickness absence onto the system
- Review return to work forms to ensure that they are compliant
- Advise line managers when staff are approaching a trigger point
- Attend low level disciplinaries as company witness
Performance Development & Training:
- Create and maintain control mechanisms for annual performance development reviews and quarterly reviews for all employees up to Team Leader level
- Monitor completion of PDR's, sending out reminders to line managers
- Liaise with Plant Manager, HR Manager and Ops Manager to develop learning and development opportunities for employees up to Team Leader level
Company Events:
- You will organise all company events including Long Service Awards, Summer BBQ and Christmas Party
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar HR role within a busy department
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with line managers and employees in all levels of the business
- A full driving licence
- Excellent organisational skills
- Good attention to detail
- Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
