School HR Officer salary: £32,000-£36,000

We at Ribbons & Reeves are working with a fantastic school in Merton, who are looking to bring a new School HR Officer into the fold.
School HR Officer Job Summary:
- Supporting the HR management staff with all staffing issues.
- Providing advice on HR issues and offering proper counsel to all staff.
- To assist in all stages of recruitment (advertising, shortlisting, and interviewing) and host initial staff onboarding and training.
- Responsible for organising and recording all staff training, including staff INSET and training days.
- Supporting the HR Manager in matters of payroll, risk assessment and production and disposal of confidential staff information in accordance with GDPR regulations.
School HR Officer Job Requirements:
- CIPD Level 3 minimum – 5 or 7 is desirable.
- Degree from UK university.
- Experience of working in a HR setting within schools.
- Competent understanding of IT software such as MS Office and SIMS.
- Experience using data record systems.
The ideal School HR Officer will also be a good team player, able to work well individually and as part of a wider team. Because of this, excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
