HR Officer/Business Partner | Caterham | Full Time | Permanent | £45,524

The role is office based, so candidates need to be able to commute to Caterham daily.

We are actively recruiting for an experienced HR Generalist/Business Partner to join our client’s organisation on a permanent basis. Joining an established and very team focussed HR team, this role will be partnering with an area of the business and will be responsible for all generalist HR to support the workforce but, will also have a large focus on recruitment and payroll.

Candidates will ideally be available on no more than a 1-2 months’ notice period.

Role Duties:

• Work closely with the Senior Leadership teams to provide a supportive service
• Provide advice and support with appraisals, probationary periods, absence management etc
• Ensure all HR procedures are adhered to
• Update policies and procedures when required
• Take the lead on the recruitment for the organisation and working with Hiring Managers
• Work closely with the payroll department to ensure a seamless payroll process is in place
• Provide all payroll information on a monthly basis
• Complete salary adjustments, tax code changes, student loan payments etc
• Undertake salary calculations for starters, leavers and maternity pay etc
• Assist with adhoc HR Project work

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience working at Senior HR Generalist/Business Partner level
• Experience of working with Senior Leadership Teams
• Strong employment law experience
• Strong working knowledge of payroll processes
• Experience of end-to-end recruitment
• CIPD qualified ideally but not essential
• Professional manner and approach
• Experience of working within a regulated environment would be advantageous
• Excellent team player
