Main Areas of Responsibility: As our HR Officer, your key responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring compliance with Academy policies for support staff leave requests
• Monitoring teaching staff attendance and punctuality, addressing concerns promptly
• Overseeing the accuracy of staffing data and taking appropriate actions
• Managing the staff workforce census return Croydon
• Coordinating with the catering company for Academy events
• Supervising peripatetic or casual staff deployment, safeguarding procedures, and pay coordination
• Overseeing the Academy asset register, preferred suppliers, and service level agreements
• Ensuring licensing agreements and maintenance contracts are in order
• Managing the Academy's single central record
• Leading the recruitment process for new staff, from job descriptions to pre-employment checks

Qualifications & Experience: We invite applications from candidates with:

• Degree-level qualifications or equivalent
• Proficiency in Microsoft software packages
• Experience as a HR Officer
• Knowledge of Health and Safety and HR legislation
• Basic understanding of financial procedures and procurement processes
