The deputy to the Head of HR is going on maternity leave any time from now, therefore they are wanting someone in place good and early in order to for there to be an easy hand over.
While this role is more HR Ops than generalist, it still touches on more generalist HR issues. There will also be plenty of deputising in the absence of the HR D, and providing leadership for the other members of the HR team.
The Role
- Running day to day HR Operations
- HR Shared Services
- Compensation, Benefits and Payroll
- Resourcing
- Employee Relations
- Talent Development
- HR Projects
The Candidate
- At least 12 years HR Generalist experience covering HR Ops and Payroll. This experience must be in a FCA regulated business where you have exposure to SMCR and GDPR.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with HR best practice and UK legal requirements
- Experience with Digital Banking or FinTech is an advantage.
- CIPD level 5 or above is desirable.
- Great attention to detail and excellent, brief style of verbal and written communication (please send a CV of 2 pages, any longer will indicate you've not read the advert with attention to detail or you can't write with brevity)
I'm going to repeat the requirement for SMCR and GDPR experience. If you don't have this then please don't apply.
This role is 4 days in the office, 1 working from home which may relax to 3:2 once your feet are firmly under the desk.
The working hours are 9-5 or as otherwise to meet requirements.
