Søstrene Grene is a specialist retailer, with 12 stores across the UK and plans to expand to 100+ in the near future!
This role is a HR generalist position supporting the managers and employees in all aspects of the people strategy. You must enjoy and have strong experience with recruitment, managing a pipeline of recruitment for new & existing stores. You will be responsible for recruitment, on boarding, performance reviews, and case work for new and existing stores. You will also contribute to developing culture, staff incentives and engagement, and will aim to improve all areas of the employee cycle.
Description
Responsibilities for the HR Officer include:
- Lead on the recruitment process for a pipeline of new stores, including writing job descriptions and preparing interview question guides.
- Organising and conducting interviews
- Developing and continuously improving the onboarding systems for new staff
- Point of contact for all stores (new and existing) in relation to recruitment and HR related issues, recruitment, grievances, payroll etc.
- Attending other stores to provide all employees with HR visibility and support.
- Support Store Managers with a robust Performance Review process to improve staff retention

The successful HR Officer will demonstrate visible leadership, training, and management skills, as well as:

- Be a quick learner and be willing to develop new skills and show initiative.
- Be confident dealing with all HR and H&S issues.
- Be a team player and willing to assist colleagues and the business where needed.
- Be willing and able to travel to other stores for new store openings, induction training and to champion ongoing staff engagement in existing stores.
Job Offer
- Starting salary £38,000 - £40,000 per annum.
