UCL HR Services is a service driven function of approximately 130 HR professionals, working closely alongside our eleven academic faculties and our eight professional services divisions to understand and collaborate on their priorities, opportunities and challenges. Reporting to the HR Services Manager, the HR Services Administrator will support an efficient and effective HR service delivery across the recruitment and onboarding processes.
About the role
As an HR Service Administrator, you will be working as part of our HR Service team to provide an efficient and effective HR service delivery to approximately 14,000 employees across the organisation. The postholder will be issuing contracts of employment, processing contractual change requests, the ending of contracts and dealing with customer queries. The role holder will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with procedures and statutory legislation. They will also help building excellent working relationships with stakeholders and colleagues to ensure all HR queries are answered, and tasks are completed within our Service Level Agreements and agreed deadlines. About you
You will be team player who is extremely organised, customer focused, with meticulous attention to detail. You will be able to meet service standards across the team and at a personal level, ensuring you are prioritising your workload. Strong communication skills with the ability to support stakeholders at all levels is essential in this role, along with the ability to use Microsoft Office to an intermediate level.
