The Role
Join the dynamic team at South Bank Colleges as a Human Resources Advisor. In this role, you will have the chance to actively engage with all members of staff within the college, within all tiers of the structure, making a real impact on the staff and student experience.
You will play a crucial role in supporting managers and staff at South Bank Colleges to achieve organisational and people goals. You will be responsible for the employee lifecycle of a set number of professional services and curriculum areas.
We are looking for a committed HR generalist who has experience in providing advice guidance and coaching around the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, employee relations, induction, restructuring amongst other things relating the our staff. There is a strong focus of providing streamlined, proactive advice surrounding Employee Relations cases such as disciplinary, grievance, maternity, paternity, shared parental, flexible working, sickness and organisational change.

The role is fully on site, 5 days a week, and expectation to travel throughout the week to campuses where the College and Group operate.
Permanent – Full Time - 36 hours per week – All year round

Skills and experience
- Experience in working with Employee Relations cases, effectively and proactively providing support, advice and guidance to managers and employees
- Experience in a fast paced environment
- Education experience would be beneficial
- Communication skills that is clear and concise
