Reed HR are working with a Public Sector Organisation based in East London to recruit a HR Systems and Payroll Manager on a Permanent basis. Salary is circa £36,000 - £45,000 per annum. This job will operate on a hybrid working model, with some days worked both in the office and from home each week.
The main purpose of this job will be to provide a HR systems and Payroll service to the organisation, working closely with the wider HR team as well as Finance, the outsourced Payroll provider, and other departments to ensure data on the HR system is accurate and complete, and to ensure Payroll is managed effectively monthly.
Some of the roles and responsibilities of this job are as follows:
- Take the lead on HR Information Systems, overseeing the effective management and maintenance of the HR system.
- Ensure HR data for employees is accurate and up to date. Suggesting process improvements as necessary to enable efficient completion of data reporting.
- Act as a subject matter expert on all things regarding the HR System, producing reports for audits, stakeholders, and Senior Leaders.
- Over see timely and accurate operation of the organisation’s payroll, pension and benefits administration.
- Collate reports from the payroll provider and address any potential errors with them prior to final sign off.
- Ensure all payroll information is accurate and up to date before submission to the external payroll provider.
- Take responsibility for benefits administration
- Undertake any additional adhoc duties as required
This is a professional and demanding HR Systems and Payroll position, and to be successful it is ideal that you have experience acting as a HR Super user previously, as well as had responsibility for managing a third-party payroll provider.
