Hseq Advisor

A reputable company in Blackpool is seeking a dedicated HSEQ Advisorto support its Safety and Compliance Manager. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, implementing HSEQ Management Systems, and enhancing overall operational performance within the Steel Fabrication & Construction sector.
This role would suit someone with a NEBOSH General Certificate, experience in risk assessment and method statement production, and proficiency in Microsoft Office software. Membership of a professional body and environmental qualifications are desirable.
Key Responsibilities:

• Support delivery of HSEQ strategic objectives for continual improvement.
• Maintain Management System, accreditations, and standards.
• Stay updated on relevant legislation and maintain the Company's Legal Register.
• Conduct internal audits and facilitate employee meetings.
• Investigate incidents, compile reports, and liaise with enforcement authorities.

Requirements:

• Proven HSEQ experience, preferably within Manufacturing.
• Experience within Steel Fabrication, preferably Heavy Manufacturing / Structural.
• NEBOSH certified.
• Strong Auditing experience to ISO standards.
• Knowledge of Welding advantageous.

Location: Blackpool
Perm: 30k - 35k (negotiable - dependent on experience)
Hours: Full Time - Mon-Fri, 39 hrs per week - Flexible.
