HVAC Contracts Engineer/Contracts Manager | This role will be based at their Wolverhampton office, with some travel required and flexibility to work from home | Full Time | £30,000 - £60,000 DOE
Our client is a multi-disciplined organisation providing mechanical, electrical and public health service installations in a professional and client-friendly manner.
As an HVAC Contracts Engineer/Contracts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the installation of HVAC services for various clients nationwide.
Are you the right person for the job?
• Relevant experience in air conditioning, heating, and ventilation
• ONC/HNC qualification in Building Services (HVAC) preferred but not essential, depending on experience
• Proven track record of successful project management and relationship-building
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in IT, including working with AutoCAD drawings
What will your role look like?
• Attending and reporting on pre-start meetings and subsequent meetings throughout the contract
• Procuring subcontract labour, materials, and ancillary items
• Keeping clients and the company updated on all matters
• Ensuring installations are completed within target dates and budgets
• Utilising your computer literacy, self-motivation, and excellent interpersonal skills to work independently and as part of a team
• Applying your relevant air conditioning, heating, and ventilation experience to drive successful project outcomes
• Ideally holding an ONC/HNC qualification in Building Services (HVAC) or possessing equivalent experience
• Leveraging your proven track record of building strong professional relationships and effective project management
• Utilising your excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in IT, including working from AutoCAD drawings
