Job Description:

Tradewind, a leading educational recruitment agency, is currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate Inclusion Support Worker to join a vibrant secondary school located on the outskirts of Grimsby. As an Inclusion Support Worker, you will play a vital role in the school community, focusing on pastoral duties, ensuring student wellbeing, implementing safeguarding procedures, conducting calls home to parents, and providing essential support within the internal inclusion room.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pastoral Duties: Provide guidance, mentorship, and emotional support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Wellbeing and Safeguarding: Implement and adhere to school safeguarding policies, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
• Parental Communication: Regularly communicate with parents and guardians, addressing concerns, and updating them on their child's progress and behaviour.
• Internal Inclusion Room Support: Assist in the internal inclusion room, working closely with students to facilitate their engagement in learning.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM
• Friday: 08:00 AM to 03:30 PM

Salary:

The pay for this role is between £100 and £110 per day, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Duration:

This position is available immediately and will be until at least Christmas, with the possibility of extension until the end of the academic year.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
• Understanding of safeguarding procedures and child protection policies.
