Information And Data Officer

I am currently recruiting for two Information and Data Officers on behalf of my client, a leading public sector organisation based in Barnsley (S70).

You will be joining our supporting families team. You will maintain systems and information to support delivery of the service. Work will have a strong focus on attaching eligible families to the programme and interrogating information management systems to gather evidence for successful claims.

Duties will include:

• Data entry onto case management systems 
• Identify families that meet the criteria and move them onto a different case management system 
• Input, check and maintain a variety of electronic and paper-based systems, ensuring information is accurate and stored appropriately.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience of working within a similar environment.
• Experience of data entry within case management systems. 
• Experience of developing and using information systems.
• Good working knowledge of computer based systems including Microsoft Office.
• Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to handle and process considerable amounts of manual and computerised information ensuring accuracy of processing and safeguarding of sensitive and confidential information.

This post is full time 37 hours per week Monday-Friday 8am-4pm, with a pay rate of £12.70 per hour PAYE.
