University of Warwick Campus, Coventry
Innovation - Operations
Full Time, Permanent
£25,138 to £28,759 per annum
As part of a team responsible for the day to day management of Warwick Innovation District spaces, events, administration and reporting, this role will provide administrative and project support for our internal innovation group as well as individuals who attend our portfolio of business-focussed programmes.
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, you will help our team to deliver our programme of innovation-focussed activities through the co-ordination and provision of efficient and accurate processes across a variety of functions, including, but not limited to: Finance and HR systems; travel; KPI reporting; Diary Management; and general administrative activity.
You will be an excellent administrator who can demonstrate the ability to juggle multiple priorities whilst keeping a close eye on the detail.
With recent experience of working in a busy project-centred environment, you will have a good understanding of basic finance processes, HR systems and general office support that will enable you to quickly apply your knowledge to the University’s existing governance structures.
As a conduit between the main University’s professional services departments and Warwick Innovation District, you will be confident in working with stakeholders at multiple levels, often needing to disseminate information across your contacts.
A great communicator, you will also be a first point of contact for members of our programmes and enquirers to the department, providing them with support to access the right services, welcoming them to Warwick Innovation District and ensuring that the enrolment process runs smoothly.
It goes without saying that you will have an excellent working knowledge of standard office software (Microsoft packages, including teams) and experience of working with hybrid meetings and in person events would be advantageous.
You will support a wide variety of activities, all focussed on innovation and supporting business growth, so an interest in or experience of this area would be helpful.
