The job holder will work closely with the Group Lead to cover all the business divisions across construction, transportation, natural resources, nuclear and networks & property. The role will ensure the placement and management of a captive led insurance programme.

As an Insurance & Claims Manager, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to
Responsibility for technical insurance advisory as well as training and awareness around insurance and related risk matters.
Delivering with the Group Senior Insurance & Claims Manager, successful placement of all policies for the organisation (including CAR, PI, Liability, motor, property and executive covers)
Collaborating with commercial colleagues to assess insurance and indemnity requirements in tenders.
Managing the project specific insurance policy pipeline including prompt execution and ongoing servicing in collaboration with project teams and brokers.
Experience needed;
Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (or equivalent) or good progress towards attainment
Significant construction/ services experience
orking knowledge of indemnity and insurance provisions of JCT/NEC contracts
High potential insurance professional with demonstrable insurance experience gained in large organisations
A good understanding of disclosure requirements and technical insurance policy wording language with the ability to explain to non-specialists
Good collaboration skills, with a proven track record of building positive and trusted relationships.
