AddressWe’re looking for a Insurance Claims Specialist/Solicitor to join us in Bradford, on a permanent basis. This is hybrid working – 2 days in the office, 3 days remote.
This person will join our Insurance Department and will be an experienced Solicitor or FCilex with proven experience; preferably Defendant.
What will you be doing?
- Investigate and defend a caseload of Defendant RTA claims on behalf of our clients; the claims consist of both vehicle damage and personal injury matters.
- Responsible for a varied caseload which will consist of Fast-Track and Multi-Track claims which will predominately be litigated.
- Updating our instructing clients on case progression and outcomes.
We tend to look for people with:
Essential
- Solicitor, Cilex or someone with proven experience in litigation and RTA.
- Work to achieve individual, team targets and relevant KPI's.
- Self-sufficient, comfortable with working autonomously as well as working across multiple teams.
- Strong legal skills with an eye for detail.
- Ability to be focussed on the highest standards of implementation and delivery.
- An ability to adopt a commercial perspective to legal issues.
- Identifying and managing legal risk and escalating clearly and precisely to Management where appropriate.
Desirable
- Experience of Defendant claims handling.
- Experience of conducting litigation.
- OIC/MOJ portal experience beneficial.
