About Our Client
Our client is a respected not-for-profit organisation based in North Yorkshire they have a strong reputation for their valuable contributions within their field.
Job Description
- Leading the Accounting & Finance department and overseeing all financial aspects of the organisation.
- Developing and implementing financial strategies to support the organisation's mission.
- Manage the year end audits and over see year end accounts
- Maintaining and improving financial systems and processes
- Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations.
- Forecasting and planning budgets
- Contributing to decisions regarding financial strategy.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Head of Finance should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- Experience in a senior financial managerial position within a not-for-profit organisation.
- Excellent leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Strong analytical, strategic planning and organisational skills.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
