Interim Management Accountant

Robertson Bell are pleased to be supporting a multi-billion-pound Birmingham-based organisation to recruit an interim Management Accountant on a twelve-month contract.

Our client has experienced significant growth over recent years and are forecasting to continue on this trajectory. As such, they are in search of a dynamic Management Accountant to provide support as their business operations expand.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing timely and accurate management accounts for designated business areas.
• Assisting month-end processes primarily analysing, adjusting (where need be), and posting accruals and prepayments to the system.
• Supporting business partners with delivering budgetary and forecasting information to key non-financial stakeholders.
• Dealing with ad-hoc queries from the business, typically relating to financial analysis and complex finance transactions.

This contract will be worked predominantly remotely, with only one day per week required in a highly accessible office location. 

  You will need:

• Recent management accounting experience within a sizeable and fast pace organisation.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to work and the ability to be a team player, as well as work autonomously. 
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups and sumifs).
