My client is a leading logistics business.
Job Description
In this role you will be required to strategically manage allocated categories of expenditure within distribution at the appropriate level. You will be required to adopt best practice Procurement processes to identify key areas of opportunity, maximizing benefits and returns. You will need to build relationships with internal stakeholders and work closely with the operations on a cross functional basis to deliver end to end sourcing solutions and value across the distribution category.
The Successful Applicant
To be successful you must have prior experience working within the distribution / logistics / transport sectors at Procurement Manager level.
What's on Offer
- Salary £40,000 - £45,000 p/a depending on experience.
- A fixed-term contract until the beginning of December with the possibility of extension.
- Remote working in the main but there may be some ad hoc travel required to their sites depending on business requirements so you must be willing to travel when required.
