Manage Procurement and supply chain operations for the public sector and government departmentOversee contract negotiations and contract complianceEnsure cost–effective sourcing and purchasing of goods and servicesDevelop and implement procurement strategiesMaintain supplier relations and manage disputesComply with NHS regulations and policiesParticipate in team meetings and contribute to overall department goalsReport to senior management on Procurement and contract performanceProfile
A successful 'Interim Procurement and Contracts Manager' should have:
Relevant degree or professional qualification in Procurement or Supply Chain ManagementPrior experience in Procurement and contract management, preferably within the NHSStrong negotiation and supplier management skillsExcellent understanding of procurement processes and regulations in the public sectorAbility to work well within a team and contribute to its successJob Offer
