Job title: Interim Finance Officer

Pay: £15 - £18 an hour + holiday
Are you an immediately available Finance Officer, who is looking for a temporary role?
Do you have knowledge of payroll?
Working for a developing professional body, you will work as part of a wider finance team.
Your day-to-day duties will include;
- Processing accounts payable invoices - including accurate coding
- Setting up payment runs - BACS & CHAPS
- Processing staff expenses - ensuring the staff have understand and adhere to correct expense policies
- Assist with month end processes and reconciliations including bank and supplier statements
- Post journals
- Updating and completing monthly payroll process & payroll reports for 50+ staff - including starters, leavers, pension and holiday calculation
The skills you will bring to the position of Finance Officer will include;
- Working knowledge of matching, batching and coding invoices
- Understanding debits from credits
- Knowledge of double entry bookkeeping
- Good ability with Excel including pivot table and VLook Ups
- Knowledge of payroll processes
