Executive Talent Solutions are working with a leading Law Firm to recruit an Interim ERP Implementation Specialist to lead the implementation and optimization of their new Elite system.
The business has enjoyed significant growth over the past 2 years - both organic and via acquisitions which has prompted the need for a better system.
The Interim ERP Implementation Specialist will be based in the Peterborough office 2-3 days per week with the rest WFH. The role offers a salary of £400-550pd and should be outside IR35.
The initial contract will be for c 5 months but could extend.
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct a thorough analysis and requirement gathering of the current ERP set-up, identifying discrepancies in the alignment of technical aspects with business requirements.
- Rectify issues related to the improper setup, manual processes, and lack of integration.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business processes.
- Propose and implement changes to align Elite with the business needs.
- Champion the needs and priorities of the business in meetings and discussions with the leadership team
- Liaise between the Finance team at the business and the technical consultants, ensuring effective communication.
- Drive change management to ensure smooth transitions.
- Ensure Elite is interfaced with other systems.
- Oversee the more day-to-day administration tasks on the Elite system where necessary, providing support for routine operations and troubleshooting.
- Lead data cleansing and data migration where necessary as part of the implementation
- Create comprehensive mapping documentation for all relevant processes.
Role Requirements:
- Elite Experience: Proven experience in successfully implementing Elite.
- Accountancy Qualification: A background in accounting is preferable.
- Change management skills: Proven ability to drive change in organizations with a history of resistance.
- Should have experience working in a Law Firm or Professional Services Business.
- Proven ability to manage partner relationships during the implementation/ reimplementation of ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills to identify system and process discrepancies.
- Excellent communication skills to act as a bridge between the FD and consultants.
- Familiarity with ERP systems beyond Elite is a plus.
- Must be willing to travel to Peterborough a few times a week
