Job Description:

MAH Construction Ltd, a prominent construction company specializing in residential and commercial projects, is seeking versatile CAD & Interior Designers to join our team in London. The ideal candidates will possess a combination of technical proficiency in CAD drafting and creative flair in interior design to contribute to the development of innovative and functional spaces.

Responsibilities:

• CAD Design:
• Create accurate and detailed CAD drawings, plans, and layouts for architectural, structural, and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) systems.
• Develop 3D models and renderings to visualize design concepts and facilitate communication with clients, architects, and project stakeholders.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to integrate design elements and ensure compliance with building regulations and standards.
• Maintain organized documentation of design revisions and updates, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the design process.
• Interior Design:
• Generate innovative interior design concepts that align with client requirements, project objectives, and budget constraints.
• Specify and source materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) to enhance the functionality and visual appeal of interior spaces.
• Develop floor plans and layouts that optimize space utilization, circulation, and flow, while adhering to ergonomic principles and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare presentation boards, mood boards, and sample portfolios to effectively communicate design concepts and solicit feedback from clients and stakeholders.
• Provide detailed drawings and specifications for interior elements, including joinery, cabinetry, lighting, and decorative features, to guide construction and installation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar, with demonstrated experience in producing technical drawings and 3D models.
• Creativity, innovation, and a passion for design excellence, with a strong portfolio showcasing both CAD drafting and interior design projects.
• Knowledge of building regulations, construction techniques, and materials commonly used in interior design and construction.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.
