Role: Internal Communications Business Partner– Fully Remote.
Elevation Recruitment Group - Marketing Division are excited to be exclusively working with a business who are global manufacturers.
Salary- up to £50k per annum.
Purpose of role:
- Trusted partner to the business, working alongside key stakeholders to continuously develop and deliver the program of internal and external communications.
- Identify improvements and opportunities to extend the program of communications.
- Work closely with team to implement initiatives and deliver communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and deliver the ‘business as usual’ communications calendar across the organisation, delivery of engaging and effective communications which inform and inspire – building pride and belief, and supporting the ongoing embedding of our Purpose and Values (e.g. Global newsletter, comms round-ups, Safety Month, Monthly Business Update, Global Newsletter).
- Work closely with key stakeholders (including H&S, Quality, Sustainability, IT, and HR) on critical projects – this may involve leading on activity or contributing to initiatives with relevant comms expertise.
- Owner of the intranet ‘Connect’ – write, prepare and edit content, work with content owners to ensure all content is up to date and accurate. Drive usage and engagement with high quality articles and thought leadership.
- Report on effectiveness of activity and identify areas for improvement.
- Co-ordinate with divisional team to manage workload, forecast activity into future.
- Support and guide regional HR teams with their communication.
- Works with divisional team on content for Linked In to support organic growth of our employer brand.
- Manage press enquiries and support with planning and organizing events (internal and external).
- Owner of templates, image library and other materials – responsible for keeping these up to date and acting on opportunities to improve/expand.
Dimensions and KPI’s:
- Demonstrable improvements across the communications calendar.
- Improved usage and engagement with Connect (intranet), quality of articles and authors.
- Improvements in quality of Monthly Business Updates.
- Continuously reviews and evaluates activities in line with relevant KPIs e.g. views, open rates, feedback, employee engagement metrics.
Experience:
- Global communications experience, including planning and execution.
- Ability to deliver in multi-cultural & diverse geographies.
- Experience of managing multiple stakeholders, working with digitally connected and unconnected employees.
Skills & Knowledge
- Evidence of communications delivery – prepared to be ‘hands on’.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Basic design skills (e.g. Canva).
- Able to work with ambiguity and in a changing environment – an organisation with evolving maturity of communications as a discipline.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence at all levels.
- “Content Hunter” – adept at spotting opportunities for a good story/informative content. Acts and follows up.
