These positions are in the regional training rotation programme with Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand Auckland Region comprising Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand Te Toka Tumai Auckland, Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand Waitemata and Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand Counties Manukau Districts.
As an Internal Medicine Basic Trainee, you will gain experience in a regional training programme in predominantly general medical runs and see a wide variety of cases. Advanced Trainees can apply for subspecialty positions in: Cardiology, Dermatology, Endocrinology/Diabetes, Gastroenterology, Geriatrics, Haematology, Infectious Diseases, Immunology, Neurology, Obstetric Medicine, Medical Oncology, Palliative Care, Rehabilitation, Renal, Respiratory and Rheumatology.
Whether you’re a Basic Trainee wanting more experience in a supportive environment or an Advanced Trainee looking to specialise, we want to hear from you!

Eligibility to apply:
•Minimum of six months in General Medicine or;
•Minimum of 12 months in subspecialties and;
•Have at least two years’ postgraduate experience and;
•Eligible for General Scope of practise registration with the Medical Council of NZ
