NET Recruit are partnering with a fantastic rapidly growing logistics and cargo business, to aid them on their search for an Internal Sales Executive to join the team operating in the Camberley area. With over a decade of success under its belt, the business prides itself on providing reliable and tailored freight and cargo solutions to its customer, via a range of modes including air, road and courier services, ensuring they find the best prices and rates for their valued clientele.
Within the business, the Internal Sales Executive will be responsible for direct interactions with the customers, ensuring that the requirements and needs of the customer is prioritised and will strive to secure the best rates for them. The Internal Sales professional will be dealing mostly with inbound leads and queries, whilst also being given the tools to build their career into the manner of their choosing with multiple paths being open to them within the business.
Your Role and Responsibilities
While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
* Answering and addressing inbound calls from potential customers
* Liaising with suppliers for freight forwarding and air and courier shipments, and negotiating the most competitive price for customers for imports, exports and cross trade
* Providing spot rates to customers by liaising with airlines
* Updating internal systems with the most up to date and accurate trariff and rates data
* Working alongside the external sales team to share information on leads that could generate further business and to follow up on quotes
What You Will Need To Apply:
The business will consider applications from junior sales professionals with excellent communication skills, both in verbal and written form, and ideally a few years of sales experience. It would be ideal for applicants to have previous experience working within freight forwarding or the cargo/logistics industry, however this is not a mandatory requirement. Additional strong IT skills and the aptitude to learn new systems would is highly coveted.
What You Will Get In Return:
As the successful candidate, you will be entitled to a starting salary of up to £28,000 subject to previous experience. You'll also have access to the company remuneration package, including a fantastic holiday allowance and pension scheme and additional monetary incentives and rewards. The company have also stated that there may be the option for hybrid working for the successful candidate, with 2 days from home per week.
