The Role & Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day flow of the Indirect deals from Originations to Payouts
- Triage of AIP deals to be completed in a timely manner, refers reviewed within agreed SLAs
- Triage of deals to include a full review of the proposal and completion of any calculators to ensure policy adherence.
- Preparation of new business proposals, and the loading onto our systems by way of Cloud, Ambit or submissions via Connected Fi, in a full state ready for credit to review.
- Assist with credit line drawdowns, to include loading, drawdown review of customer and the review of term sheets, whilst ensuring appropriate escalation if required
- Analyse financial information such as accounts, Bank statements & forecasts and recommend way forward based on the information provided
- Arrange asset valuations where required
- Arrange Asset Inspections where required.
- Liaise with Credit / Group Credit and NPL/Collections on contracts
- Liaise and assist with Brokers & Broker Managers on the outcomes of Contracts, requesting further information where necessary and providing decision emails.
- Liaise with FCT for AML approval to include referrals
- Develop new business opportunities by building and maintaining relationships with clients and introducers and by providing an efficient and high-quality service to them
- Carry out relevant credit & ancillary searches on each customer at onboarding
- Assist with producing, tracking and administering documentation - as and when its needed
- Generate Quotes and Commission to Introducers when required
- Ensure high standards are maintained in respect of all records / documentation / correspondence, adherence to GDPR policy.
- Answer general and specific account enquiries from FCT, QA, Data Retention, Customer Services and Collections
- General office duties eg scanning, filing, administration, answering telephone etc
- Communicate and escalate potential issues/risks in a prompt and effective manner
- Proactively encourage the adoption & use of the Broker Portal, to ensure all new opportunities are presented by Brokers via the portal
- Partner with Internal colleagues across the Indirect Channel, providing support and partnership on both existing routes to market and also new Business development activity, as per the forward growth strategy of the Indirect Business.
- Meet and exceed performance goals and objectives which have been set by the Indirect Business Management Team either on a individual or team perspective.
The Person
- Able to demonstrate circa 3 years in a Leasing/Finance Internal Sales/credit/operations role
- Computer literate (good knowledge of MS Office suite – Excel, Word)
- Ability to communicate at all levels and able to build and develop relationships with clients and introducers of business
- An ability to produce and maintain accurate new business records and spreadsheets
- High level of numeracy and an understanding of financial calculations
- Methodical in approach with a meticulous attention to detail
