ThisDelivery Manager will be responsible for a portfolio of projects. They will manage a mixture of technological business projects of diverse sizes and will be pivotal in ensuring these are delivered within time, cost and quality criteria as well as being mindful of the wider business context and the impact of the project.
The role
- Ability to work with a range of internal IT teams encompassing a variety of disciplines, including a variety of disciplines, including Testing/Quality assurance, Business Analysis, Application Support, Networks and Infrastructure, Security and Service Delivery teams including end user Compute.
- Assisting the European Head of Delivery in establishing standards and processes for IT delivery for both waterfall and agile delivery.
- Ensuring individual initiatives are setup for success, monitored, tracked and reported on (waterfall agile or DevOps) with appropriate and effective governance.
- Day to day management of project and delivery risks & issues, understanding the risk context and demonstrating a range of risk management and mitigation techniques and controls.
- Working with a range of teams including business analysts to develop business cases and ensuring a smooth rollout of business change with relevant stakeholders.
- Producing, tracking, managing and reporting on project budgets creating tailored reports that are targeted at different levels of key stakeholders.
Experience
- 7 Years experience with an appropriate business, IT or PM qualification or qualified by experience.
- Extensive experience in the delivery of projects across the whole IT/IS landscape (Infra, Systems and Web/Mobile Dev).
- Expert demonstratable working knowledge of Project methodologies, Waterfall, Agile, Lean and their interdependecies.
- Extensive experience of managing Capex budgets.
- Experience of creating and running procurement and vendor selection exercises.
- Demonstratable experience and understanding of TCO and ROI in relation to the selection and delivery of projects.
- Persuasive skills and strong stakeholder management combined with hi EI and soft skills in the project delivery space.
