It Procurement Buyer

IT PROCUREMENT BUYER - 12M FTC - ICONIC BEVERAGE BRANDS - HIGH WYCOMBE (2DAYS) - £50,000 - £64,000 + 12% BONUS + PACKAGE

I've partnered with a leading global beverage company that specialises in manufacturing and distributing innovative drinks. With a rich heritage spanning over 90 years' they are true market leaders and home to some of the most iconic brands.

As a team, they have dedicated themselves to creating a best-in-class procurement function and are now looking for an experienced IT Buyer to join their division. As the IT Buyer, you will play a crucial role in managing the IT procurement category, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of products and services. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to meet the company's IT needs at a local and regional level.

The IT Procurement Buyer will be responsible for:

• Responsible for developing Local and Regional activities for the European business.
• Manage projects to generate savings and extend coverage, report activity and savings
• Support the Source to Pay (STP) process
• Develop appropriate supplier relationships in alignment with the strategy including effective management and monitoring of vendor contracts.
• Ensure contracts / business engagements with suppliers are agreed, signed and registered in the STP contract life cycle -system
• Scan market for key developments, propose innovations and new products from suppliers to the business
• Ensure alignment within Business Units agenda for Procurement strategies and through that cooperation with local BU, ensure that benefits are delivered.
• Implement usage of group procurement methods and sourcing tools.
• Improve suppliers' quality and services performance.

The IT Procurement Buyer will have:

• CIPS qualified, studying towards or equivalent studies
• experience in various Indirect areas including IT
• Exceptional analytical ability
• SAP / Coupa skills a bonus
• Strong communications and influencing skills - ability to steer senior stakeholder towards decisions
