I'm looking to speak with individuals who are comfortable delivering 1 st line support and deliver excellent levels of customer service. You will have a solid understanding of networking principles such as LAN/WAN, DHCP and DNS. You must be highly organised with an ability to prioritise your workload to make sure that the support desk runs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Investigate hardware and application incidents and apply fixes or workarounds
Work with internal and external stakeholders to support project initiatives
Escalate any incidents where required and follow them through to resolution
Continually contribute to the company knowledge base with written material
Work within the support team on a shift-based rota to provide 24 x 5.5 coverage, also participating in out of hours support
Ensure all software and hardware devices are kept up to date
The Ideal Candidate
Able to effectively communicate with Senior Management, customers and suppliers
Fantastic attention to detail, with a proactive approach to see things through to conclusion
Strong problem solving skills
Capable of working on multiple projects at any one time
Desire to continually develop their own skill set
Excellent troubleshooting skills with an ability to find the root cause across a variety of technology
Desired experience with:
Active Directory
Office 365
Exchange
Networking principles - LAN/WAN, DHCP and DNS
Windows Server
GDPR and best practices
