It Support Analyst

Copello are recruiting for a IT Support Analyst on an initial 5 month contract to join a manufacturing organisation in Hampshire. The role will be enjoying an existing team and will be reporting into the IT Operations Supervisor.

As the IT Support Analyst you will be required to provide 1st & 2nd phone support across company IT equipment, applications as well as assisting with hardware/software installations and configurations. This role will be the first contact point to record, resolve and manage internal end users IT issues via current company documentation and processes.

Other duties of the role include

• Follow the service desk management processes & procedures.
• Ensure all incidents and requests are recorded and updated within the service desk system.
• Ensure all incidents are correctly categorized & prioritized.
• Resolve all incidents at the first point of contact where possible.
• Enforce the security policies of the organisation
• Drive incident resolution and articulate clearly and concisely with end users.
• Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
• Contribute to and ensure the effective use of the Knowledge Management tool.
• Participate in the out of hours support call rotation.

The successful IT Support Analyst will require the following skills & experience:

• Have an analytical approach to problem solving.

• Ability to make decisions based on the information at hand.

This role will require 5 days a week on site and will be offering circa 30 per hour (inside IR35). After the initial 5 months of the contract there maybe an opportunity for this position to go permanent.
