This role is to provide day-to-day general IT support to all Semperian Group employees and will include clearly communicating technical solutions in a user-friendly and professional manner, troubleshooting hardware and software problems, PC and Laptop imaging and configuration, IT asset management, and escalating more complex end-user issues to Senior members of the team.
IT Support Analyst Responsibilities
- Identify, diagnose and resolve Tier One and Two problems (software and hardware) and communicate solutions to end-users
- Provide one-on-one end-user problem resolution over the phone/email/remote desktop for all Semperian Group employees
- Assist with configuration and setup of end-user PCs
- Assist with mobile phone (iPhone, Windows8) troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve end-user network or local printer problems
- Coordinate timely repair of PC computer equipment covered by 3rd party vendor maintenance agreements where applicable
- Assist Senior members of IT team in creating training materials for end-users – for example, frequently asked questions, how-to’s, other documentation as required
Essential
- Computer related education
- Knowledge of desktop operating systems: Windows 8.1, 10, Microsoft Office 365, PC hardware, Microsoft Server 2012, Active Directory, Group Policy.
- At least 6 months experience in an IT related environment
- Previous experience in a similar environment
- Understanding of networks and cloud computing
- Configuring and troubleshooting network printers
- Ticketing and asset management systems
- Imaging of laptops and desktops
- IP Phone systems
- User management (locking, changing passwords etc.)
- Microsoft SharePoint
- Apple iOS

You should be comfortable communicating clearly by phone, email and in person and customer-focused, with excellent attention to detail.
