Our client is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their team as an IT Support Apprentice. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity for a young apprentice to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic field of IT and telecommunications. As a junior member of their team, you will work closely with experienced professionals to provide technical support and assistance to their clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support to users
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, networks, and telecommunications equipment
- Install and update software applications, perform system upgrades and ensure systems are operating efficiently
- Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, or in person
- Documenting all support activities
- Assist with the implementation of IT projects and initiatives
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, training materials and knowledge base articles
What do they need from you?
- An interest in IT and/or telecommunications technology with a desire to develop technical skills
- A basic understanding or computer hardware, software, networking concepts and telecommunication principles
- Ability to work in a team environment
Salary:
£17,000 - £20,000 per annum
Working week:
Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
