About the IT Support Engineer job
The purpose of your role will be to provide 1st line technical support to telephone requests, email requests and on-site requests from users.
Key tasks
- Advanced troubleshooting and escalations, working with senior staff on issues passed from first line support.
- On site installation support, working with senior IT staff on new installations and break fix to onsite equipment including networking, servers and cloud platforms.
- Incident Management, working with senior IT staff on critical incidents and outages.
- User training.
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues and escalating or remediating as required.
- Liaising with the external IT partner for escalations and new system rollouts.
About You
- You should have 1 – 2 years’ experience working in IT in a first line role with the desire to move ahead.
- Willingness to be flexible and adaptable in all situations.
- Amazing communication skills, both internally and in a customer service situation.
- Thirst for knowledge and learning.

The IT Support Engineer job is based in Braintree and is paying £25,000 to £27,000 according to your experience.
The package includes full training and support from a friendly team as well as industry recognized qualifications.
You must have a driving licence and own a car since occasional travel to other sites is required.
The working hours are 8.30am - 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
