SalaryIT Support Engineer - Birmingham (Hybrid) - �23,000 to �27,000
We are currently partnered with an MSP based in Halesowen Birmingham, who are well regarded within the West Midlands who are on the hunt for a Support Engineer to join their Support team. My partner provide support at all levels to a few of the best-known companies across the West Midlands and across the UK.
They are involved with some of the industry's best known and regarded technologies including Dell, Cisco, Microsoft, Veeam, Citrix and much more. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop a brilliant technical and professional foundation.
My partner has a proven track record to deliver training and progression to a high level, and due to the scope and range of industries my client deals in, this will be a ideal environment for a recent graduate or someone new to the IT industry.
Key requirements of the Support Engineer role:
* 1-4 years' experience working as 1 st / 2 nd line support
* A good understanding and experience with the O365 suite as well as Deployment, Administration and Applications
* Good experience with deploying and building Desktops, Laptops and Mobile devices
* High level of written and verbal communication
* Technical experience: Windows server, Active Directory, Windows Operating systems, Network fundamentals, installation of Software
* Good hardware knowledge, preferably with the ability to change batteries and hard disks
Responsibilities of the Support Engineer role:
* Upgrading hardware
* Installing and updating Software
* Providing project support for more senior engineers
* Provide assistance with Cyber essential audits
* Providing assistance for the role out and migration of Laptops, PC's ,Desktops and Mobile devices
