SalaryBased in Co Monaghan, our client is a well established business currently seeking an IT support Officer to join the team.
Reporting directly to the IT Manager, you will provide day to day 1st level support to users, diagnosing problems using appropriate support tools for hardware, software, and in-house apps.
This role would be suitable for a graduate or entry level IT candidate with some experience looking to develop their IT career.
Responsibilities:
- Administration of multiple end-user applications and processes
- Provide hardware/software support by telephone, email, or via remote tools
- Install and configure new (Windows) computers, notebooks, printers, multi-function devices and mobile phone handsets
- Support users of main CRM system
- Assist users with Windows 10 & 11 logins and initial configurations such as Outlook setup, OneDrive setup, SharePoint, Office365, etc
- Liaise with various internal departments to resolve queries and complaints.
- Work to IT best practice, GDPR and network security standards & protocols.
Criteria:
- Minimum 6-12 months previous experience in an IT support role.
- Active Directory, Office 365, Exchange administration
- Good troubleshooting experience
- Experience in Remote Assistance/Support
- Experience in supporting end users
- Hands on experience and knowledge of Windows 10 &11 systems
- Good customer handling skills and communication skills
- Strong prioritisation and organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Salary is in the region of €30k dependant upon experience.
